Brand Q&A: How do you keep people engaged without spending hours on social media?
I think most of us have lost sight of what social media for business is really about. It’s about connecting with people. It doesn’t take all day to connect with people. Just go on twitter or facebook with an ACTUAL plan, instead of just turning it on and just waiting for a retweet or post to come by that you really like.
Someone you want to work with? Say hello. Ask them how they are doing. Answer a question/respond to a post from someone you admire in your industry. Post a quote and ask people what they think.
That way, twitter and facebook won’t feel like such a waste of valuable and energy that you should spend on your business.
